Here is a 10 minute video showing the expansion of Rome year by year. The history of ancient Rome is divided into three periods: The Monarchy, the Republic and the Empire. As you watch this video, keep your eye on the black smudge that is Rome at the beginning and then note the year and other information about who was ruling. Expansion of Rome

ReplyDelete1. Emily Cooper and Thomas Chiles were absent. Emily Wilson came in late.
2. Asked students for; Course information Sheet, Parent Letter, and the Homework from 1/29.
NOTE: S. Gaskins told me that she has not turned anything in because she wants to transfer out of the course. Her reason is that there is not a language teacher teaching the course.
3. Students reviewed the Syllabus and completed the Quiz.
4. I asked students to show me the required materials. Lillian, Kaitlin, and Emily Wilson have the materials and S Gaskins had the composition book and loose leaf notebook.
5. Viewed the series of maps: Rome and its Expansion
6. Showed the video: Expansion of Rome
7. Showed the THREE videos from Khan Academy.
8. Completed crossword puzzle Two.
NEED TO COMPLETE:

B. Task #4 with the maps and assign the homework.
